The Silver Horizon Ribbon Cutting will be October 7, 2023 from 9am-2pm
Next Meeting Date: Oct 2nd – Pres. Paul Shirk will present a fun PowerPoint “History of Our Silver Horizon.” Complete with seldom seen pictures of the Silver Horizon rail car, punctuated with era-appropriate music to highlight the 75-year journey to her home here in Heritage Park.
Meetings are held in the Redwood Room of the Library and Cultural Center at 5pm on the first Monday of the month, unless otherwise noted.
Maricopa Museum and Visitor Center at Heritage Park located at 44240 Maricopa-Grande Hwy, is now open for tours. For more information on the Museum call 520-483-4692 during open hours.

Incised petroglyph rock art. The long-billed wading bird was etched into desert varnish by Dave Morris. Dave spoke and demonstrated his art at one of our 2023 speaker meetings.
Come join us for Coffee on the porch (inside during the hot weather) Wednesdays at 9am and share with us stories and thoughts on Maricopa’s history.
