Incised petroglyph rock art. The long-billed wading bird was etched into desert varnish by Dave Morris. Dave spoke and demonstrated his art at one of our 2023 speaker meetings.

John E & Mary Lou Smith Family Heritage Center
The newly opened Smith Family Heritage Center is now open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, from 10am to 2pm. Visitors are welcome to come and tour the house and displays. There will be docents available to answer questions and conduct tours.
Directions:
Entrance is through the gate on the East side of Butterfield Pkwy, between Hoag Dr and Kramer Ln. There will be a sign out on the sidewalk and the gate will open during operating hours.
